Meet Fred

Fred and his siblings Fluff-A-Roo, Drac and Hunter came to MCHS on 3/28/25 after they were found in an Austin neighborhood.  They were all born to Pretty Girl probably in June, 2024.  Fred is a shy boy in new situations, but with lots of patience and love, he will come around. Fred and his sibliings, Drac, Hunter and Fluff are in a foster care home now, getting to  know the "people world!" He is now neutered and current on shots and has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  Adoption fee is $80 with an approved application which is available at mchs.rescuegroups.org.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  We will set up an appt to meet Fred or our other cats after we have received your application.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.  

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
