Meet Mr. Frank Shirley who joined us in rescue right before Christmas! If you've ever seen the Christmas Vacation Movie, much like his namesake, he starts out like a curmudgeon but ends up revealing his much softer side! Frank is a charismatic cat that has lots of curiosity about his surroundings; he loves to explore, often times finding himself a window or high perch to keep tabs on what's going on. Whether it be exploring around or lounging in his bed, he is always up for an adventure! Mr. Frank Shirley is not the most affectionate cat but his independent nature adds a touch a mystery and charm to his personality. If he is not feeling up for something or would like to have some space, he will let you know with a swift swat of his paw! Don't worry though, you can easily read Frank's body language! Mr. Frank Shirley's adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, we look for adopters who have a history of having kept their pets altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives. If you would like to meet Mr. Frank Shirley, please submit an adoption application for consideration at Adopthope.org
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
