S’up Dude! Are you looking for a 4 legged friend who LOVES food? Like all kinds of food! Then I may be the one you seek. Me and my brothers were born on a farm and had some bad luck with icky bugs. A nice lady brought us inside and got us cleaned up and gave us all sorts of food. We were much smaller than we should have been, but we grew quickly. Because we didn’t know that people could be so nice it took us a while to be comfortable in our foster home. But I was so nervous and it took me a long time to realize they were nice and gentle. They used to call me Spicy because I was so unsure, but not anymore! I talk about it all the time with them now. Like all the time. I can still be elusive, but I do love a good game of hide and seek. There is this little person that plays with us all the time! She will carry me around and dangle or throw toys for us. She even set up a ball pit for us and I love it so much! Almost as much as my food. Oh! I even have a hammock that I spend all my down time in. I’m a super chill boy who doesn’t mind nail trims and belly rubs. Head and neck scratches are my favorite! I’m still not quite a cuddler, but I will sit with you for a few pets before I have to go get into trouble. My zoomies are epic! I love having another friend to play with and to get in trouble with. I spent a lot of time with my brother Leo ; ) I’m very shy at first and still get a bit jumpy at new noises, but I do settle with time. ~Raphy (Raphael) Raphy is currently in a foster home with a small dog, older cats (7y-12y), and children (7y&13y). He is everything you are looking for and he is looking for his own family to love. Raphy is up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for Feline Leukemia. For more information about Raphy, please contact Last Hope Animal Rescue. To fill out an application for him, or any of the other great friends at Last Hope, please visit: www.adopthope.org
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
