Meet Russ! He came to us with a group of local kitties that joined us just before Christmas time. He has a tipped ear from a neuter he had done before joining us, but is seeking an indoor only home. Russ is a soft spoken boy, sometimes his sweet meow is barely detectable. Russ is ultra people friendly, gets along well with other cats, and is a playful, adventurous kitty. He is always willing to meet new people and loves to see what is going on. If you are looking for a confident and fun cat to join your family, Russ is your guy! Russ' adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, we look for adopters who have a history of having kept their pets altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives. If you would like to meet Russ, please submit an adoption application for consideration at Adopthope.org
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
