Meet Mai & Mochi (bonded pair)

These two are an energetic, fun pair of sisters.  They love toys, especially wand toys and laser pointers.  They enjoy climbing up high in their cat tree and chasing each other around.  Typically in a bonded pair, one kitten is a bit more shy than the other.  Between these two, that would me Mai.  She's a little more reserved at first, but she can warm up pretty quickly, especially when Mochi is around. I know it may seem like it might be hard to tell these two apart, but they have very different color patterns, especially on their faces.  Mai has a larger black spot on her forehead while Mochi has more white.  These girls were ear-tipped when they were spayed, but it was soon realized that they are friendly and could do very well in a new home with an amazing family to spoil them.  They would do great in a home with other animals as well as kids of any age.  They are really still just babies themselves and are pretty adaptable. Mai and Mochi can be found hanging out at the Oswego PetSmart, 350 Fifth St, Oswego.  Come by and check them out!   Both cats are micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,  spayed, and litter box trained. Their combined adoption fee is $270 ($135x2).  If you are interested in meeting Mai & Mochi, please fill out our Online Application today!   Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.

Adoption Process
Read more about our adoption process on our website at: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/ Adoption fees depend on the animal. Please see the pet’s biography for information on their adoption fee. Below is an overview of what you can expect during the pet adoption process: Step 1: Submit an online adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Step 2: Our volunteers will review your application and reach out with a status. This step can take up to five business days. Step 3: If your application is approved you will be invited to meet with the cat or dog you are interested in at a mutually agreed upon time and location. Step 4: We’ll walk you through the benefits of adopting through A.R.F., then complete the adoption paperwork and collect the adoption fee. Then your new best friend is yours! Step 5: Complete required follow-ups such as obedience training or spay/neuter (if delayed due to medical reasons).
