Meet Wilma

I am a very sweet, laid back kind of girl.  I really love getting lots of attention, whether that be chin scratches, head rubs, or lots of snuggles.  I also really enjoy being brushed, which is good because it helps keep my gorgeous long fur looking shiny and beautiful. I am a great companion and sometimes have quite a bit to say.  But don't worry, I won't hog the conversation.  I want to keep you company while you tell me all about your day too.  I am a great lap cat and don't mind being picked up.  I do like an occasional play session with toys and lasers, but I'm ok with just hanging out, too.   I do great with kids and would probably be just fine with another cat and maybe even a dog, as long as you take the time to introduce us properly.  I can't wait to find my forever home.  Won't you take me home so we can cuddle? Wilma is hanging out at the Oswego PetSmart while she patiently awaits a forever home.  Stop in and say hi!  She can't wait to meet you.   Wilma is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations,  spayed, and litter box trained. Below is an overview of what you can expect during the pet adoption process: Step 1: Submit an online adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Step 2: Our volunteers will review your application and reach out with a status. This step can take up to five business days. Step 3: If your application is approved you will be invited to meet with the cat or dog you are interested in at a mutually agreed upon time and location. Step 4: We’ll walk you through the benefits of adopting through A.R.F., then complete the adoption paperwork and collect the adoption fee. Then your new best friend is yours! Step 5: Complete required follow-ups such as obedience training or spay/neuter (if delayed due to medical reasons).
