It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Matilda

Matilda is a 5 year old gray tabby with unique tan accents in her fur, Disney-size green eyes and a sweet bell-like meow. Her favorite hobbies include laying on your lap, purring, making biscuits, taking naps, grooming, posing for photos, and chasing laser pointers. Matilda is a proud single lady that also enjoys her alone time. She doesn’t get separation anxiety and will gladly nap away the day in peace awaiting your return home and will promptly greet you and request some petting time when you walk in the door. She is currently looking for a new loving home where she can be the only princess in the house as she is accustomed to being an only cat. Matilda is dewormed, spayed, up to date on vaccinations and excited to come home with you! Apply at ITVrescue.org today to bring Matilda into your family. Matilda's adoption fee is sponsored. All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
