Meet Eddie

If you're looking for your very own house panther, Eddie would be a great addition to your home! Eddie is a male short-haired black cat with green eyes, about 5 years old. He was picked up off the street during the winter and given to the rescue where he currently lives with a foster. Eddie is fully vetted and house trained, and has been socialized in a home setting with humans and other cats. He is also a big boy, weighing in at a healthy 15lbs!Eddie is a goofball and loves to run and chase. He isn't afraid to pounce on his toys and his playmates. Eddie gets along well with other cats, especially those that are looking for a buddy. He would also do well in a home as a solo cat.Eddie loves attention, his catnip kicker toys, cat tunnels, and curling up for a nap on a soft folded blanket. His favorite treats are Churu tubes and Greenies.Eddie is sometimes nervous, but he is a very good boy. Instead of biting or scratching, Eddie likes to use his master ability to wiggle out of your hands. He loves being pet, but is still learning to trust when being picked up.Eddie would be a great fit in a quiet home with adults or older children that can treat Eddie with care. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
