Meet Calliope

And though she be but little, she is fierce. I’m Calliope, and I was runt of my litter. I’ve grown into a lean athletic machine, but I’m still on the smaller side. Playing with my fleece ribbon toy is my favorite pastime, and I will keep you entertained with my antics when playing with it. I love to climb up my tall cat tower and watch out the window from the top. I am shy when I meet new people; but given time, you will see that I am a real snuggle bug when I’m in the mood to chill. You’ll know I’m content when my purr motor goes into overdrive when I get a kitty massage.  With a proper introduction I will do well with other cats – I especially enjoy playing with my younger kitten friends in the home. If you are looking to adopt 2 kittens/cats, ask my foster mom about others I would pair well with! I am unsure of inquisitive dogs so a home with no dogs or a dog indifferent to cats would be best. A home with no children or children 12+ is needed as little humans make me nervous.  My birthday is 3/22/23 and I’m being fostered on the southside of Indianapolis   

Adoption Process
Applicant completes application form, has interview with ARPO representative, and home visit prior to pet placement.
