C.A.R.E. is a non-profit, all volunteer and foster-based animal rescue located in Columbus, Indiana working to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education and responsible pet adoptions. We promote spaying and neutering as the way to relieve the number of animals entering our local shelters.. We work with local shelters to help with overpopulation and to increase the number of adoptions.

Meet Sanderson

Sanderson is the sweetest, most affectionate kitten! He follows his foster all over the house, sleeps in a ball by her pillow at night. Big personality! He's very socialized with kids, other cats and dogs. He loves cat tunnels!! Like, really loves the tunnels :)  Give this love bug a home!  Up to date on preventatives, vaccines and microchipped. He will require a $150 spay/neuter refundable deposit. Details on that are in description below.  CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies $100 for cats/kittens and an additional $150 spay/ neuter deposit where applicable. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped. All payments are by credit card.  Adopters schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE.
