Meet Tiger
Tiger Domestic Shorthair, Born November 2023, Brown Tabby with White, Spayed female Hey, folks ~ my name is TIGER and there’s something I need to clear up. People think my name is a nod to my ancient ancestors ~ but that’s not true. TIGER actually stands for: Thriving Indoor Goddess & Ex-street Resident (T.I.G.E.R.)! You see, my early days were spent navigating the city streets of Chicago, but thanks to C.A.R.E., I've recently discovered the comforts of indoor living ~ and let me tell you, I’m finding it a pretty purr-fect setup. My street-smarts have made me a curious and adventurous kitty, and I love exploring every nook and cranny of my new indoor digs. I never dreamed my days would be filled with cozy naps, regular meals, endless play and tons of cuddles! I must admit though, it sometimes gets a little lonely without fellow feline fellowship. That's why I'm keeping an eye open for a home with a young and playful cat like me. My biggest dream come true would be having a buddy to chase, tumble, and share secrets with.Even though life has already thrown me some curveballs, it’s only taught me to be resilient and adaptable. Choosing to adopt me would mean giving a former street kitty a chance to thrive in a safe and loving environment. So do you think you can open your heart to a tiny TIGER like me? I sure hope so!Tiger must be adopted into a home with another young and playful cat. Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
