Meet Sox
Meet Sox! He was transferred to us from the shelter where he was surrendered with two broken front legs. His bones luckily healed well after splinting, although he’s still working on building his muscles back up now that his splints are off. He is easing back into normal activity a little more everyday! One of his canine teeth also grew in a little funny, potentially from whatever trauma happened to him. It may need to be extracted in the future, but isn’t causing an issue currently. Sox is very social and loves being held and cuddled. He’s a talkative guy, meowing excitedly while he investigates a new space or if you’re late with his breakfast. He has quite a bit of kitten energy, which he uses to zoom (as best he can) from room to room or bat toys around. He likes other cats but can come on a bit strong, so would do best with another outgoing playmate who doesn’t mind “little brother energy.” He has only been around dogs briefly, but would likely adjust well with appropriate intros. Approximate DOB: October 2023 Foster Home Location: Madison If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees: Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225) Adults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100) Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60) All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped.
Adoption Process
