Meet Andrew Dice Cat (aka Ford)

Andrew Dice Cat, or Dice as he is affectionately known, started out with a pretty tough life as a stray in Chicago. When he came into foster care he took a little while to learn the ropes of an indoor kitty, but thanks to lots of love from his foster family he is now a sweet and independent boy with the best manners! Dice is a quieter guy who really appreciates the finer things in life, lots of tasty treats and snoozing the afternoon away perched on his cat tree. Currently Dice lives in an adult-only foster home and really thrives with people who are attuned to his cues, letting you know when he is ready to play, when he wants pets, and when he is ready for some quiet time. When Dice gets to know you and feels comfortable in his space, he really loves to play and interact with people! He shows his affection by giving head bumps and rubbing up on your leg. And if Dice decides you're a part of his trusted circle of humans he may even start to groom you! When he gets really happy, he has a great purr motor. And if you have some treats on you, you better believe you will be Dice's best friend! He is a treat fiend and is always ready for a snack. Dice's favorite toy is a wand toy called "da bird" which he loves to chase around and show how fast he is.Dice’s ideal home is with experienced cat owners who are happy to take their time as he learns to trust them. He does give signals when he is getting overwhelmed, and would love a family who respects these signals and gives him space when he needs it. After Dice gets the chance to decompress in his new home, we know he will show you his wonderful personality!Dice has learned a lot from watching the other cats at his foster’s home, and would love a cat companion who is able to learn and respect his boundaries. Currently Dice hangs out with 6 easy going adult kitties, so he would love to have other calm adult kitty pals or sweet younger kitty pals in his new home. Dice has not been exposed to dogs at his foster home, but as he can be a little shy we are not certain he would be as successful in a home with an energetic dog.Andrew Dice Cat has been in foster care for almost a year, and we have no idea why nobody is scooping up this handsome, independent, and sweet kitty! Dice deserves the best forever family and whoever gets this hunk is in for a lifetime of love from this guy!Apply at online application (catsfff.org/adopt)View all of our adoptable cats here (catsfff.org/cats)Our adoption fees are listed here (catsfff.org/adoption-fees)

Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee. Adoption Fees: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v6z1287oepz9kah/FPALR%20Cat%20Adoption%20Fees.pdf?dl=0 We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.

Look for other cats for adoption!
