Mustang Domestic Shorthair, Born in July 2023, Brown Tabby with White, Neutered male Psst. Over here. It's me, Mustang! I might be hiding, but I'll happily come out to meet you. I'm a small guy who might not get very big. Yes, I am kinda shy. There have been lots of new experiences in my young life. Noises scare me, so please be patient. With encouragement from the CARE folks, I've blossomed and gained confidence in myself. I enjoy playing with kitty toys of all sorts. Once I trust you, I'll enjoy a relaxing petting session after chasing some wand toys. Hint: head scratches and Temptations treats will win me over. The CARE folks think I have a lot of potential - they should know, right?! Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
