100Meet Sterling
Sterling is a big, gorgeous love bug, way too friendly for the streets! He came in with wounds behind his ears and a URI, but sweet as can be. We have gotten him vetted and used to the indoor world, which he adores! What he dreams of is a true home of his own, with people to love and stability to enjoy and settle into. He likes meeting lots of people who take care of him in a shelter environment, but he wants to have a family! He would be your most loyal companion. Sterling does test positive for FIV. This condition just means a lowered immune system--he needs no special medication, just the same things every Catsnap cat needs: good food, wellness care, and an indoor life. This virus is passed only among cats and only (in adults) by deep bite wounds, which Sterling must have received outdoors. Friendly FIV positive cats are often very sweet because they were simply picked on. Would you be willing to overlook what this boy endured and give him a safe home for life? Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten! If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org. We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet. Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved. All CATsNAP cats and kittens are: Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age) Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
Adoption Process
$115 up to 6 mo, $85 6mo & over, unless otherwise stated, assumed acceptance of contract including landlord releases if necessary, vet references, previous animal history, employment history, etc with finalization of adoption.
