125Meet Vincent
Vincent came to us scared, in poor condition, and needing a second chance! As we held him to let him heal up and get healthy for the best chance possible at life, he let us know that he is a friendly cat. Once that was established… well, this was no slow transition! It was like we’d always known him as a lovebug. Vincent does well with other cats in the main community room, and he does even better with people! He is one of the “greeters” you always see coming toward you when you come up front, and he is very silly, fun, and affectionate. We can’t guarantee any cat would be a lap cat in a home setting, but he sure loves laps in a shelter setting. His coat is vastly improved from its condition on intake, and it will continue to blossom over time! Vincent is a case where we look back and see the impact we can have on a life if we work together… this “feral” cat may not have lived much longer on his own, but he is now healthy, happy, absolutely social, and ready to change YOUR life by becoming your pet! Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten! If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org. We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet. Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved. All CATsNAP cats and kittens are: Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age) Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
Adoption Process
$115 up to 6 mo, $85 6mo & over, unless otherwise stated, assumed acceptance of contract including landlord releases if necessary, vet references, previous animal history, employment history, etc with finalization of adoption.
