Meet Pout,This adorable feline is not your average lap cat, she brings a whole new level of personality to the table. She’s a sassy senior with a heart full of love, waiting for the perfect match to appreciate her unique charm. Pout was front declawed in her previous life leaving her vulnerable and reliant on her instincts for protection and survival in her new environment.Pout lost the only home she knew, and this has caused some anxiety and confusion so she is looking for a quiet, adult-only home environment where she can thrive and truly be herself.  She also prefers to be the only pet so she can relax and sleep uninterrupted between play sessions with her feather wand and chase her mousey toy when she thinks nobody is looking! She's also taken quite a liking to the cat grass grown in her foster home. She is a little older and therefore is on a potassium and adrenal medication twice daily along with a once a day high blood pressure medicine. This all helps to keep her in tip top shape! She’s a sophisticated diva who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to express herself.  This beautiful gal is looking for an adopter who can appreciate her fiery spirit while being patient and understanding.  She may have a hissy outburst at times but it's all due to the stress she has endured. Pout is a puzzle waiting to be solved, a unique feline for the patient and compassionate cat lover.Underneath that spicy exterior lies a heart full of affection just waiting to be unleashed. Now, it’s not uncommon to find Pout seeking out company, nestling herself comfortably in the warmth of a welcoming lap or curling up beside someone on the couch.  She will happily snuggle up next to you for cuddles in bed once you retire for the evening.  Her affectionate gestures have endeared her even more to those who share their lives with her. There’s something undeniably heartwarming about the sight of this once aloof feline now eagerly seeking out affection and companionship. She’s a complex kitty with a range of emotions, and she’s seeking an adopter who will embrace her in all her glory. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
