It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Kitty Bea – A Tiny Survivor with a Big HeartKitty Bea is a petite 1-year-old brown tabby weighing just 5 lbs, but don’t let her size fool you—she’s full of sweetness and resilience. She came into ITV’s care after storms caused damage at Hopkins County Animal Control, and she’s been thriving ever since.Now fostered at Daisy’s Pet Playground, Kitty Bea has been doing wonderfully with other cats and continues to show her gentle, affectionate personality. She’s soft-spoken, easy to love, and would make a wonderful companion in a calm and caring home.Kitty Bea is available for adoption through ITV Rescue’s Evansville, IN location.
