Let me introduce you to little Miss Mia Ann. This sweet mother of FIVE is just waiting until she can be an empty-nester again. Or well, at least empty enough that she doesn’t need to be babysitting any more. Mia Ann is a lovely and caring young cat who enjoys some gentle scritches and some nice cuddly nap time between her meals. Now that her kids are mostly grown, she sure does enjoy a playful pounce on some toy mice or a little chase of the feather wand. But whatever you do, watch your plates! This girly sure does enjoy the finer foods. Leave out your snack for later and you may just not have any left… Mia Ann would do well in pretty much any home. She is used to kitten shenanigans, and could deal with young cats or young humans. She is also currently living with a family dog and is tolerating her canine friend just fine!Mia Ann is a cute, stealthy girl who could double as a night burglar. She will quietly sneak away one of her kids’ favorite toys, or even maybe the cracker you were eating, before she comes back with a full belly for some cuddle time. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
