Bechamel will be featured at the Angels with Tails adoption event. Forever Fortunate Felines will be located inside Neiman Marcus (737 N Michigan Ave Chicago ) Sunday, June 1st from 12:00–4:00 PM. Applicants who apply and complete the checks ahead of the event and come to meet me there will be given priority for adoption!The absolute sweetest little mama, Bechamel, is ready for her chance to finally be the center of attention! As a young kitty herself, it's amazing how well Bechamel has done raising SIX kittens (Tissue Paper, Styrofoam, Bubble Wrap, Packing Peanut, Paper Bag, Cardboard) over the last two months. But now that her tiny tots are ready to be adopted, that means she is ready for her forever home too! Bechamel is such an easy going and sweet cat, often looking for pets and gently rubbing on your legs. She has a teeny little meow that's almost silent! She absolutely loves food and treats, but is also very motivated by toys like wand toys, catnip banana, and is a great user of the kitty tree for scratching. She has been so easy to foster, we know she will be a perfect fit for many different households. Bechamel can be adopted as a solo cat into a home with a family who is home often, or she does great with other cats and can join a family with an existing resident kitty. So long as she gets plenty of pets and love, we know she will be happy! Bechamel has not met dogs during her time in foster care. While she hasn't spent time with children in foster care, her calm demeanor would probably do well with cat savvy kiddos who will give her extra love and snuggles. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
