Atlas- An affectionate, easygoing loverboy!Atlas is a total sweetheart who loves his humans and other kitties equally.  Despite being found on the street emaciated with an old flea collar, he still trusts his foster family and has put on some much needed weight.  Actually, he has become quite the 'food hog', but who can blame him?  And, even though he was in rough shape when he first entered foster care, he was always ready to show some love and appreciative purrs for any attention he got!This sweet, resilient guy is an absolute cuddler who enjoys nothing more than curling up on his foster's lap or next to her and politely asking for as many tummy rubs and pets as he can get!  And while he craves attention and some good old fashioned TLC,  he's ever the gentleman and will not hiss, claw or bite. He loves attention but is not clingy or needy!When Atlas is ready to play, his energy comes out and feather and wand toys are his favorite playthings.  This boy thrives on companionship, so he should do well in an adults-only home or one with loving children.  He would do well in a home where he gets some time and affection daily. He is used to a more quiet home but is energetic and not easily frightened.   So, if you are looking for a loving and affectionate companion who will bring joy and warmth to your home, consider adopting Atlas. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
