It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Dash! Dash is a 5-year-old female tortoiseshell cat who came into ITV’s care after storm damage affected Hopkins County Animal Control. Despite the upheaval, Dash has settled in well and is currently enjoying the company of other feline friends in her foster home at Daisy’s Pet Playground.While Dash doesn’t seem to be the biggest fan of dogs, she hasn’t displayed the typical “tortie-tude” often associated with her breed. Instead, she’s a sweet, calm girl who prefers a peaceful space and gentle companionship.If you're looking for a loving and mellow companion, Dash may be the perfect fit. Apply to adopt Dash at ITVrescue.org Located at our Evansville, IN location.All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
