Meet Lucy
TOBIN THEMED KITTEN: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 2 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Lucy! I came to Mostly Mutts at just barely 2 weeks old. The dedicated volunteers took over and I went to a great foster home where I needed bottle feeding and great care. Now, I am a happy, healthy kitten who is ready to find her furever family – perhaps that is with YOU! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I love playing with the other foster kitten my foster home! I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet! / I had a great friendship with the dog in my previous foster home – we even recognize each other and say ’hi’ when we are both at the shelter! I would likely do well with kitty-friendly dog in my new home. / Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: My foster describes me as a HUGE cuddle bug. I super curious and have that wonderful kitten energy that makes for lots of great play time – with kitty friends and people alike! I’m actually a great combination of play and affectionate (loving but not needy) – sure to bring lots of joy to my new home! • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to romp around and play – sometimes challenging my foster kitten friend to a ‘stairs race’, then settle in for some nice cuddle time – either in my foster’s lap or right next to her. Any kitten toys are great, but - I especially love playing with crinkly packing paper and pipe cleaners! I also enjoy the scratch post with two ball tracks on the bottom – batting the balls and watching them spin. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I am up to date on my kitten shots, microchipped and spayed. I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family for life! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
