Meet SAL - A Dash of Spice, a Whole Lot of Sweet
Meet Sal – A Charming Ginger Tabby with a Heart of Gold Sal is the definition of irresistible — a bright, affectionate yellow tabby with that classic “Ginger Tabby” charm. If you’ve ever known one, you know there’s nothing quite like them! Sal was rescued as a kitten, but heartbreakingly, he was later returned to a dangerous and unstable situation in a sketchy apartment complex in Clarkston. There, he and his best buddy — another friendly yellow tabby — stuck together, trying to survive among a group of outdoor cats. Recently, the situation became dire when young boys began jumping fences and harassing the cats, even attempting to harm them. When we learned of this cruelty, we stepped in and brought Sal into the safety of our rescue. Despite everything he’s endured, Sal has remained sweet, sociable, and incredibly loving. Here’s what makes Sal such a gem: Extremely friendly, playful, and affectionate FIV/FeLV negative and heartworm negative Fully vaccinated and flea-free Healthy, happy, and ready to bring joy into your home Sal would thrive in a safe, indoor environment where he’s loved and protected — ideally with someone who appreciates his warm personality and is ready for a loyal companion. He’s truly a delightful cat who deserves the very best after all he’s been through. Could you be the forever family Sal has been waiting for? Adoption Process
First there is an application, then the meeting, then the animal is brought to its potential new home, then there is a foster/trial period, after a month or so we make the final adoption. Fees may vary, but the standard is $275 for dogs and the standard is $125 for cats. All animals are fully vetted and up to date on shots at adoption. If at anytime and for any reason, the animal is not working in the new household, we will take them back.
