Meet Caramel
SUNDAE TOPPING THEMED KITTEN: Approx. 2 .5 months old / Approx. 2 lbs. Hello, I’m Caramel! My siblings and I were rescued from animal control, and we are so grateful to be part of the Mostly Mutts family! I arrived with an injury to my eye, so it was removed. I don’t let that get me down – it is just one of the things that makes me unique, and I bet you will agree! We went to a great foster home until we were big enough to take up residence in the Kitty Aquarium at the shelter. Now, we are ready to meet our new families, so come see us soon! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I get along very well with my siblings – we are best buddies! I may enjoy another kitty in my home, so if you have a nice kitty at home already, let’s meet! / Dogs unknown / I liked the young girl who lived in my foster home. Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I am a super sweet kitten with a playful nature. Along with my sister, Marshmallow, I am a bit more reserved in nature and – though I may take a little time to warm up, I am soon not holding back my loving and friendly nature. I can’t wait to bring lots of kitten love to my new home! • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: Like my siblings, I am all about playing, playing, playing! All types of kitty toys grab my attention - feather wands, balls, towers – you name it, I’ll play with it! I love to cuddle and turn on my purr motor, too! / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I’ve started my kitten shots, but you must finish those for me as I grow. I am microchipped. I'm not yet spayed due to my small size, but it is required and will be done as soon as I grow a little more. Mostly Mutts will cover that cost with one of their approved vets in the North Metro Atlanta area, so local adoptions only. I am looking for a loving home with a wonderful family! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly.
