About

Meet Solstice

CELESTIAL CALENDAR THEMED KITTEN:  Approx. 4 months old / Approx. 3.5 lbs. & growing Hello – I’m Solstice!  My sister, Equinox, and I found ourselves in need of good homes, and we are so happy that Mostly Mutts was able to welcome us into a great foster home.  We have been soaking up the love ever since, and I now hear it is time for me to find a great home of my very own.  So exciting! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  I get along great with my sibling.  We’re good buddies!  I am also sweet and respectful toward the cat that lives in my foster home … though they don’t really care for me.  I may enjoy another kitty in my new home, so if you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / There are two dogs in my foster home who are VERY curious about kitties, and they don’t faze me.  If you have a kitty-friendly dog at home, we would probably do well together. / I’ve not been around kids in my foster home, but I am fine with being picked up.  Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitten.  Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitten, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION:  My foster says I’m a bit more independent than my sister and will explore on my own.  Let’s face it - I’ve got places to be — cabinets to explore, shelves to scale, and mysterious corners that definitely need investigating. I also like kicking things around the floor — bottle caps, toys, mystery crumbs — it’s all fair game. My sister and I wrestle and tackle each other like we’re in a kitten wrestling league, but it’s all in good fun.  I’m pretty chill and was super calm for a bath.  My foster says we are both ‘great kittens and will make wonderful additions to any home’. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS:  I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to play — chasing things, pouncing, zooming around like the floor is lava — it’s kind of my thing.  But let’s get one thing straight: if there’s food, I’m there. Treats?  Yes.  Kibble?  Yes.  Whatever you’re eating?  Also, yes. I can hear a snack bag from across the house.  Crinkle that treat bag, and I’m your best friend! / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a kitten, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention on which I thrive! • MEDICAL:  I am up-to-date on my kitten shots, microchipped and spayed. I am looking for a loving home where I will be a cherished family member!  My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
