Meet Kandi (aka Gracie)
A SUPER FRIENDLY KITTY : Approx. 1.5 years old / Approx. 13 lbs. Hi, my name is Kandi! I was known as Gracie in my previous home, but please inquire about me as ‘Kandi’, since my MM records are under than name. I was adopted from Mostly Mutts about 1½ years ago as a kitten. Unfortunately, I lost my home when a family member moved in and was highly allergic to cats. That makes me sad, but I am grateful that Mostly Mutts was able to find me a great foster home while they work to find me a new family to love. I’m now available and ready to start my new life – perhaps with YOU! • OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: My previous owner said I got along well with other cats I met while living with them. I may enjoy a kitty friend in my new home, so if you have a nice kitty at home, let’s meet! / I’m curious, but a bit nervous, about the dog in my foster home, though I have approached him on occasion, so if you have a kitty-friendly (or kitty-tolerant) doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we cab be pals! / I met a gentle 9-year-old girl when I first arrived back at the shelter from my previous home, and I liked her. Children in my new home may be nice, since I am a playful kitty, but best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I’m a lovely girl who thrives on attention from my people. My foster says sometimes I am challenged to communicate what I want. If I think I am not getting enough attention, I may nip as if to say – ‘hey, pay attention to me’. My foster is working with me by not rewarding that - giving me attention when I’m gentle and leaving the room when I nip to get attention. I am making progress, thanks to her patience! I’m playful and often play independently. An occasional lap kitty, I’m sure you will love my sweet nature. • SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy playing and definitely favor the wands, as well as the crinkly shiny ball toys. I also like the 3-tiered tower with the balls for some independent play. Collecting petting when it is time to chill makes me happy! / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I would not be happy if I did not get the love and attention all kitties deserve! • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, combo tested negative and spayed. I am looking for a great family to give me a loving home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.

The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
