Meet Max

Currently located in a foster home.Max: A Tiny Miracle Turned Mischievous Mastermind (14-year-old Brown & White Tabby)Maxine, or Max for short, is a testament to resilience and the power of love. Rescued from the unlikeliest of places – a Lowe's Garden Center – this pint-sized wonder was no bigger than a kitten's paw at just 1-2 days old. Abandoned and hungry, her cries echoed through the store until a kind soul intervened.Bottle-fed and showered with love, Max (originally Maxwell because she was "maximum everything") thrived. Despite the initial shyness that often comes with such a rough start, Max quickly blossoms with a little patience and some irresistible treats. This clever girl not only learned her name but held onto the spirit of "maximum" – mischievous, smart, and surprisingly active for her 14 years!Max is the purrfect example of a senior cat with a zest for life. While she might take a moment to warm up to new people, those lucky enough to earn her trust are rewarded with a loyal and loving companion. Imagine a cat who can outsmart you with a playful glint in her eye, all while reminding you of the incredible bond formed through rescue and care. Are you looking for a senior cat with a unique story and a heart full of mischief? Max could be your purrfect match! She's an indoor-only cat, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations.Open your heart and home to a feline legend – contact us today to learn more about Max!Please complete our online Adoption Application.
