Pierre is such a fun little goofball and a total sweetie. He is a true attention seeker and full of affection and love. He barely meows - just a little squeak but he’s a purr machine and will purr for minutes on end, especially when getting some pets and love. He loves to play and climb and run around. He is all black with just the tiniest speck of white on his chest. He’s a brave and silly soul and can make anyone smile. His sister Marie is also available for adoption. They love to snuggle each other and play. It’s always a fun time to adopt two siblings together, especially if you don’t already have another cat. It’s also BOGO for kittens. He was shaved recently due to feline lice eggs. He is on revolution and is getting lime dips. Depending on when you adopt him, he may still need to have another lime dip or two but we have the medicine available for that. Adoption is $50.00 and includes the neuter surgery, initial vaccinations, rabies, microchip and Feline Leuk/FIV testing. To meet this kitty, please email his foster mom at: [email protected] Please share with us where the kitty will be living and with whom (children, other animals) so we can know a little bit more about you.
Adoption Process
Most of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and must submit the form in person at OCAS directly. The adoption for these animals is $40, one of the requirements is verification of pet policy if the potential adoptor rents. The adoption process for animals owned by KFCI is similar but adoption fees vary depending on each individual animal; however we try to keep the fee as close to $40 as possible even if our expenses were significantly more.
