Marie is a sweetie. She is a little fearful still but warms up to people fast with some yummy food and some playtime. She’s got a lot of sassiness and energy. She’s so adorable and makes you smile when she pops her perfect round kitten face up from her favorite kitten tunnel. I’ve never heard her speak even one meow but she does purr when she’s in a good mood and getting pets. She is all black with one perfect white spot on her chest. Her brother Pierre is also available for adoption. They love to snuggle each other and play. It’s always a fun time to adopt two siblings together, especially if you don’t already have another cat. It’s also BOGO for kittens, so you can get twice the fun and it's half the trouble. She was shaved recently due to feline lice eggs. She is on revolution and is getting lime dips. Depending on when you adopt her, she may still need to have another lime dip or two but have the medicine available for that. Adoption is $50.00 and includes the spay surgery, initial vaccinations, rabies, microchip and Feline Leuk/FIV testing. To meet this kitty, please email her foster mom at: [email protected] Please share with us where the kitty will be living and with whom (children, other animals) so we can know a little bit more about you.
Adoption Process
Most of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and must submit the form in person at OCAS directly. The adoption for these animals is $40, one of the requirements is verification of pet policy if the potential adoptor rents. The adoption process for animals owned by KFCI is similar but adoption fees vary depending on each individual animal; however we try to keep the fee as close to $40 as possible even if our expenses were significantly more.
