Meet Bijou, Willow Grove PA (FCID# 03/05/2024-110)

This cute brown tabby gal is Bijou! We don’t know a lot about her past, but we do know that she craves human affection. What form that takes is still a bit of a mystery, though. The safest bet is sticking to her head for some soft caresses and scratches underneath her chin. She may invite you to pet her belly, but that is most definitely a trap. She may also suggest you pet her back or tail but proceed with caution. Bijou sometimes gets a bit over stimulated and responds with a nip or her paws. We are working with her, and she responds well to redirects with toys! In fact, she has a lot of energy to burn and loves racing around, climbing atop cat trees, and jumping through the air. She has a very quirky side to her and we think patient person with a sense of humor would be great to help her identify her boundaries and ideal forms of affection. We think she’d be an excellent fit for an active, adult-only household that can offer her attention and stimulation.  Bijou seems to be generally be good around other felines, but like the rest of her likes and dislikes, we aren't sure what her boundaries are when it comes to friends. We are not sure how she'd respond to dogs or children.  Bijou is playing in our Willow Grove Shelter. Submit a no-obligation application to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Not ready to adopt?  Please apply to foster: https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/.  Thank you! (Foster: Willow Grove)
