Meet Simon
Simon says..adopt me! This pretty Persian purrbot is patiently pretending he doesn't prefer being the prize possession of his new people/person. Pshaw! Simon was surrendered recently to PAWS, so despite not being able to stay in that home he did get enough time with his former family to know what it's like to be loved and adored. He also was very well socialized with pretty much everything and everyone, happily living with other cats, guinea pigs, small dogs, and small humans. Seriously, what more can you ask for?!? He would obviously do well in a wide variety of homes, but would do best in one where he can have the same level of constant companionship he grew up around. Being a Persian, he would need some special attention and medical care throughout his life (nothing substantial, just a bit more detailed than your average feline). Brachycephalic breeds such as this are more prone to issues with their eyes (large, exposed eyes in a smooshed face), skin (the folds of their smooshed face), and breathing (smooshed face...I think we mentioned the smooshed face?). Having a good, established relationship with a full service vet would be a key part of his best life!
