Meet Sugar Ray, so named because he is incredibly sweet despite his sad and tragic background, and because he was found in a beaten up state when he was rescued, literally from an alley filled with garbage and dangerous debris where no pet should ever have to survive. This poor guy is a prime example. of how some humans truly don’t deserve animals. Underneath his messy exterior was a dear and handsome guy with “odd eyes”—one blue and one green! Now well fed and cared for--photos are before and after-- this affectionate, mature boy (exact age unknown), has proven to be quite loving and forgiving despite how badly he was treated in his former life. He is FIV positive but is doing well; all he really needs right now is a calm, forever home, an owner who appreciates his gentle companionship, and who will reward him with a safe place to curl up and cuddle contentedly for the rest of his years. Sugar Ray’s days of struggling to survive the elements, fights, scrounging for food, and cruel abandonment, must be over for good. If ever there was a cat who needs and deserves the good life, this is The One. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. All he needs is you! If Sugar Ray’s story has touched your heart (how could it not?), please reach out and apply today. You won’t regret it!
