Meet Loki

Meet Loki! A tender-hearted seven-year-old Domestic Short Hair currently living in Abington, PA, whose dainty gray-and-white coat and signature nub tail are as charming as her chatty, cuddly personality. Loki is a petite, soulful cat who brings a quiet kind of magic to the right space. With a soft meow that often turns into full conversations, she’s a vocal companion who will gladly share her opinions on everything from breakfast choices to birdwatching. She’s especially fond of climbing, perching up high, and finding cozy nooks where she can feel safe and serene. Feather toys and springy cat gadgets? Yes, please—those are her jam! While Loki is deeply affectionate and cuddly once she’s comfortable, she’s also highly sensitive to change. Sudden shifts in her environment—like rearranged furniture, new items, or an active household—can trigger stress-related urination. Despite dedicated efforts, including Feliway diffusers, a Litter-Robot, and medication, Loki continues to urinate on items several times a week when stressed. Her anxiety has become more pronounced with the arrival of a toddler and a baby, making her need for a quieter, more predictable environment all the more urgent. It’s important to note that Loki is medically healthy—her veterinarian has confirmed she’s in good physical condition—but her emotional wellbeing depends heavily on consistency and calm surroundings. She’s not being difficult; she’s simply overwhelmed by chaos and trying to express her discomfort in the only way she knows how. Currently, Loki lives with a dog and two other cats. While she tolerates their presence, she’s more of a loner and tends to retreat when interactions become too intense. One of the other cats has a habit of bullying her, which may be contributing to her ongoing stress. In a quieter home as the only pet, Loki would likely blossom into the loving, loyal companion she truly is. Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and full of potential, Loki is waiting for someone who understands that love sometimes means patience and quiet companionship. Could your peaceful home be the soothing sanctuary Loki needs? Reach out to [email protected] to meet your gentle new best friend!
