I'm Fauna! I love pets, butt scratches, treats, and lounging in my cozy bed. I don't mind the little dogs at my foster home -- they leave me alone, which is great. The cats...well, they don't seem to like me much, but I'm polite about it. I would do best as the only cat in my forever home. I'm a talker and I love being talked to! I purr like crazy -- total purr machine! I'm what you'd call a "velcro cat" as I am very clingy and love attention. My mom of 8 years sadly had to leave me and my sisters, Flora and Merryweather, due to unfortunate circumstances. For now, we're living with our wonderful foster mom who is helping us feel safe, secure and loved again. Fauna was born around May 7, 2016, and is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
Adoption Process
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process.
All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets.
Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
