Meet Sid

Sid is a handsome 2.5-year-old stray who was found at a local farm. He is a playful, attentive, affectionate, and loving kitty. When Sid went into foster, he quickly made himself at home within two days, and he loves to be wherever his foster mom is. Whenever she’s reading or watching TV he joins her, either napping on the sofa or sitting on her lap getting a head and body massage. Sid likes to know where she is and is very happy following her around. He also enjoys being groomed. Sid loves to play, whether chasing a small ball or toy around the house, or running up and down the stairs. He is also a sports fan – he likes to watch hockey, golf, and figure skating on TV.Sid is FIV-positive, has a sensitive tummy and is currently on prescription food, but overall is very healthy. He needs to be the only pet in his home and will make someone a wonderful companion. He is a boy who loves his human!   Cats who test positive for FIV can lead a long and healthy life without medication.  Our adoption counselors have a lot of information on FIV and can assure you that he has many good years ahead.    As we are closed to the public, adoptions are by appointment only. If you have an interest in meeting Sid, please fill out our online adoption application (https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MWHS/Cat). We will review all applications and make appointments for those applicants we feel would provide a good and loving home for Sid.
