Cali is a beautiful, big-eyed girl. Unfortunately, she came from an overcrowded house and became pregnant at an extremely young age. Cali had no interest in being a mom (through no fault of her own -- she was just a baby herself). Just before being rescued, two of Cali's babies passed away, and a third was placed with a surrogate mother (and she is thriving). Cali is starting to trust and appreciate individual attention, something she has yet to experience during her short life. She is enjoying playing with toys and is very wet food-motivated. Cali is a quiet, docile girl who would benefit from living with a confident, social kitty friend who can continue showing her the good life. Cali was born around September 24, 2023. She is currently being fostered in Naugatuck. She is fixed, is up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at https://www.fosterandforever.org/ Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24 - 48 hrs.
Adoption Process
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process.
All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets.
Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
