Meet RED

**LOCATED IN PUEBLO*****Staff thinks I will be ready by Late September/ Early October. My foster family says Meet Red, the lightest of his litter with a soft black and white coat and an even softer heart. His markings include a charming white bib on his chest, neat little white socks on his paws, and a light grey streak across nose adding to his sweet and gentle look. This kitten may be a bit more reserved than his siblings, but he shines when it comes to affection. Red loves scritches and pets, and his favorite place to be is curled up on your lap, soaking up the warmth and comfort of your presence. While his siblings may be busy playing, Red is happiest cuddling close, quietly bonding with you. He’s friendly and gentle, not overly demanding, but he seeks companionship and security, making him a tender, loyal little soul who will melt into your heart. *** I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-473-1741; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed on an animal. Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. We want to be healthy for our new life together!
