Meet Sota
Sota (meaning plump or big in Japanese) is a rambunctious, active kitten who wants to play, chase, wrestle, pounce, and oh yeah - EAT. Sota has a quite round, impressive belly - he likes to grub and it shows. He's a growing boy, who can blame him? Gotta fuel all that activity somehow. Because of his active, extra playful nature, Sota needs to be adopted into a home with at least one other feline companion that is similar in age/activity level/personality. He would potentially be a poor fit with a cat who lacks confidence. Check out his sister Chibi who is also up for adoption- they make the cutest, most complimentary pair! Sota has had minimal interaction with dogs but would likely warm up to one that is well-mannered and cat friendly. Sota has been quite tolerant of small human hands and has been a substitute baby doll for a gentle, supervised 6-year-old human on several occasions. While he likes to play a lot, he likes some cuddles too. If you're looking for a rambunctious little guy to liven up your home, Sota's your guy. Sota was born in March.Follow Sota and other foster animals on his foster mom's instagram @kelseysrescuemeowtainFoster: KC Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $250 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $150 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $150 for kittens (6 months & under) $75 for cats (older than 6 months) $35 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
