Animal Rescue of the Rockies

ARR was formed in 2003 to provide an alternative to shelter environments for homeless dogs and cats. By providing foster homes as a temporary measure until forever homes can be found, our pets are socialized and cared for individually.

Meet Diamond + Ozzie (bonded)

Little Ozzie (gray and white) boy is so special! He is such a sweet and gentle boy who loves his litter mates and his big sister of 2 weeks older Diamond he acquired the same day he came to our home. He is a tall boy with big strong legs and sharp green eyes. He is just a beautiful boy! He is observant of his surroundings and loves to be where the action is. He spends most of his days lounging in the sunshine alongside his siblings or batting around a toy. I love nose boops and checking out what my foster mom is doing. I'm learning as well with harness training and it's allowing me to feel safe and secure. If I can be adopted where I have big brothers or sisters, I would really love that, or if someone is willing to adopt my sister Diamond, we really do love each other so much. We cuddle and bathe each other. We are very close and would love to grow up together. I am a good boy and use the litter box, scratching posts very well. I know when it is breakfast and dinner and get very excited and wait patiently near my food bowl. I have come so far in my ability to trust and love. I would still need a lot of trust and love as I was born in the wild without human interaction. When I am happy and relaxed, I like to have my belly rubbed and I give soft little meows of happiness in return and big purrs. Please consider adopting me! Diamond (black and white) is a girl who started out a diamond in the rough, but she has become a bright and beautiful jewel that would bring the greatest joy to your home! She is such a soft, fluffy, and beautiful girl that is just ready to cross that hump from being super shy to knowing that she doesn't have to be scared any longer. She came to me on the same day that I got 3 kittens just a few weeks younger than her, and it was just the greatest thing for her. She was like an instant big sister to them. She loves other kitties and she has really become attached to the little boy, Ozzie, and I'm hoping that they find a home together. But that's not a deal-breaker! If she finds a home with other pets, other cats, and gentle dogs, I know she would do so great. She is a very social kitty and loves to play and be with her friends. I have her in a harness because it helps her to keep calm and I'm able to approach her easier, so if she goes home, I would highly recommend she continues harness training to continue getting her adjusted. She love, love, loves her tummy rubbed so much and will open up and invite you to rub her. She has such a sweet demeanor when she isn't scared. She uses the litter box just fine and has good manners. She loves sunshine and sitting in the window sill, or in a kitty bed by the window and sunshine. I will put birds on Youtube for her and she will watch birds for a long time. She is a good girl and loves to play with toys and will play fetch. Please give this girl a good home and consider taking her bestie with her! They are great together and they are two peas in a pod. But again, not a deal breaker, I just want her to have lots of love and pets she deserves! Both born in May 2025. foster: kese  Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes.  These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.  These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under)    $125 for cats (older than 6 months)    $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
