Meet Bitty

Meet Bitty (A205507)! Bitty is just 6 years young. Bitty came in to the shelter with his friend/brother? Kitsy A205506 after their owner died. We do not know if Bitty and his Kitsy are particularly bonded. It would be great if they found a home together, but it is not required. Bitty is the sweetest cat in the world, but is a shy boy at first so he needs the right home to shine! Bitty is stressed at the shelter, but the moment you open his cage and talk softly to him he moves toward you and seeks petting. Once you start petting him he simply melts and starts purring, kneading and rubbing against you affectionately. He might even drool just a little bit! Bitty would do best in a quieter home with a patient adopter who will provide him with lots of love and reassurance. Because we do not have any history on Bitty, I do not know if he has lived with a dog or with children, but due to his sensitive nature, I would say that a home without kids or dogs would probably be best. Bitty is such a love that I have no doubt he will bond very closely with his person. If you are looking for a kitty to love, please come to the shelter to meet Bitty!

Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.

Look for other cats for adoption!
