MediumMeet February and May, the adoptable kittens! These pipsqueaks came into the Shelter with their mom April (who has already been adopted â yay!). They were a bit under 2lbs so theyâve hung out in a foster home for about a week growing big and strong to prepare for adoption. Their foster reports: âThe cuteness factor is verging on the ridiculous with these two. They are typical kittens, alternating between scampering about and making messes and sleeping curled up together. They are both curious and playful.â February and May would do great as a pair of kittens to complete a family or could be adopted separately.February and Mayâs adoption fee are reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund â a fund that draws adopterâs eyes towards black (or partially black) cats that are often overlooked in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
