Meet Grace
Hi! We are Grace and Winston! We were rescued in Kahramanmaras, Turkey by Help Street Cats and Dogs, www.helpstreetcatsdogs.com/grace and www.helpstreetcatsdogs.com/winston, a local rescue that helps neglected, abused street cats and dogs. We are survivors against all odds. Both of us were hit by a car and lost a leg. We bravely endured the harsh streets of Turkey. Luckily for us, we were rescued from a shelter, giving us a second chance at life. We are tightly bonded and love cuddling and playing together! The fact that we’re tripods doesn’t phase us in the slightest. I (Winston) am a little more agile due to having both back paws, so I love exploring and hopping up to high places. I (Grace) am slightly more limited my mobility due to having only one back leg but still love jogging around and exploring. I am a gorgeous, sweet, and mellow kitty! I am a bit more timid than my very outgoing buddy, Winston, but once I see him getting attention, I’m quick to join and want lots of cuddles and pets too. I do need a little more time and patience to get comfortable with you, but after I’ve gotten to know you, it’s clear that I have endless love to give. I will hop on to your lap and nuzzle my face against yours. I have long soft and beautiful fur and the fluffiest tail. I love curling up near you when it comes to bedtime. My favorite thing to do is to curl up on the cat tree and do some bird watching. I am not as high-energy as Winston, but in the evenings, I definitely gets a spurt of energy and loves batting toys around. We are an extra special bonded pair. Wouldn’t you love to adopt us together? Follow us @sf_kitties. Please note:Grace should be adopted with her best friendIndoor only For more information & an online application go to https://www.givemesheltersf.org/adoption/cat.php?id=12273&ts=1747206153&src=rg
Adoption Process
All of our adopters are required to fill out an online application. Once we review the application, we contact the applicant to do a phone interview, and a zoom call to meet and learn more about the cat with the foster parent to determine if it's a good fit for everyone.
Then the potential adopter can meet the cat in person and take them home if approved through this process. We have them sign an adoption agreement and pay $150 adoption fee.
