Meet Blackie (bonded with Patches)

Meet Blackie and Patches – Bonded Brothers with Big Hearts These two adorable brothers were just three weeks old when we found them tucked under our deck, tiny and helpless but already full of personality. Blackie, the sleek all-black kitten, and Patches, his equally charming sibling with white paws and sweet patches on his face, quickly stole our hearts. We brought them inside, and they’ve been thriving ever since. Playful, curious, and inseparable, Blackie and Patches adore each other and spend their days exploring every nook and cranny, pouncing on toys, and snuggling together when it's time to nap.   Blackie started out as the bolder of the two—more adventurous and a little feisty—but Patches has grown into his own and now holds his ground like a champ. Both are incredibly friendly and love human attention. Despite their young age, they’ve been using the litter box perfectly from day one, even during the nights we accidentally kept them away from it. No accidents, ever! These boys are full of love, wonder, and playful energy. Their bond is unbreakable, and they’d make a wonderful addition to a caring, affectionate home ready to welcome double the joy. If you’re looking for the perfect pair—loving, social, and endlessly entertaining—Blackie and Patches are ready to meet you!   Please contact their foster at [email protected] for any questions.   Thank you for considering a rescued kitten!! HALO's cats and kittens can be seen at Pet Food Express in Antioch and Clayton.     Antioch hours are every Saturday and Sunday 10am-1:30pm (except the third Saturday of each month, there is no adoption event).   Clayton hours are every Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am-2:00pm.  Clayton store is located at 5404 Ygnacio Valley Rd.   Please check ahead to see which store the kitty you are interested in will be at.  Please bring your own carrier!     For further information, please email the foster, or [email protected].  To see more of our cats and dogs, go to http://www.eccchalo.org

Adoption Process
Fees vary on the animals expenses paid anywhere from $50.00 to $300.00. Application is filled out and SECURE FENCING REQUIRED FOR ALL OF OUR RESCUED DOGS. If you are considering adopting a dog through HALO Here are some helpful hints: Bring pictures of your yard to show secure fencing. Most of our dogs require a 6 foot fenced yard. Yards must be cleared of any fox tail weeds. We do adopt small dogs to apartments or condo and need to see pictures of the patio or balcony area. If you rent, please bring copy of your lease to show you can have pets and any size restrictions. We do not adopt to homes with children under the age of five unless we know the history of the dog with young children. All Children MUST be present at adoption. If you own a dog and are looking for a friend please bring your dog with you so they can be introduced.
