It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.  TERRY LUCA was found in a lady's back yard in San Jacinto, California. Her dogs kept chasing them out. She ended up catching him and what we think are his sons (OFFICER VICTOR TAN, SERGEANT DONOVAN ROCKER  and SERGEANT DAVID "DEACON" KAY). The lady had seen that he would come around and she would feed. When we trapped him, he was not chipped, was not fixed and he had absences ever where including in his private area. The rescue mama held him to find if he had a family and give him a chance to heal. No one claimed him. And while he was recuperating, he became such a sweet guy. Now he's ready for his FUREVER home!! Meet TERRY LUCA, a young feline who embodies a perfect blend of sweetness and independence. His curious nature keeps him exploring, while his gentle, mellow demeanor makes him a great companion. He's a smart, loyal, and brave cat who, despite his shy side, loves to engage in goofy antics that are sure to make you laugh. TERRY LUCA is also quite the talker, always ready to share his thoughts in the most endearing manner. Mostly when your getting his wet food ready.  His large size only adds to his charm, making him a delightful presence. But what sets TERRY LUCA apart is his ability to bring joy and laughter into any home. He's not just a cat, but a friend who will always be there for you. He has never been around young children or dogs. TERRY LUCA is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA, BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** MARCH 2024:   VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.   Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit.  A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART  in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available  to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. TERRY LUCA is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $250 covers:  Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
