It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.  OFFICER JIM STREET was found in a lady's back yard in San Jacinto, California. Her dogs kept chasing them out. She ended up catching him and his siblings (CAPTAIN JESSICA CORTEZ, OFFICER CHRIS ALONSO, OFFICER DOMINIQUE LUCA and SERGEANT DANIEL "HONDO" HARRELSON).  When we arrived at the TNR clinic, we realized that these tiny guys would not survive on the street. So we had to find fosters for them to get them socialized. Our rescue actually caught more cats in that neighborhood that were extremely friendly. And you will find them all with names from the show S.W.A.T. Meet OFFICER JIM STREET , a kitten with a big personality packed into a small body. His curiosity knows no bounds, often leading him to explore every nook and cranny of his surroundings. His goofy and mellow nature will keep you entertained as he displays his funny antics. Smart and playful, he loves to engage in games that stimulate his mind. His energy is infectious, and his bravery is admirable.  Though he can be shy and independent, he's never too timid to ask for his favorite wet food. Skittish at times, he's quick to warm up once he feels safe. With such a unique blend of traits, OFFICER JIM STREET is sure to bring joy and laughter into any home. OFFICER JIM STREET is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TUXEDO MIX. He is about 4 months old and is good with cats. He has never been around young children seems non-reactive to dogs. Please know that he will need a young cat friend at home. OFFICER JIM STREET is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA, BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** MARCH 2024:   VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.   Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit.  A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ************ PLEASE NO CALLS. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. OFFICER JIM STREET is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers:  Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
