Meet ARTEMIS

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. ARTEMIS and PARZIVAL were living in really bad area. The independent rescuer has a feeding station at her work and these 2 cats showed up. She trapped them and took them to get fixed as stray cats (so they got ear-tipped). While they were in recovery, she discovered they were both extremely friendly. She reached out to us to help. These poor guys were so malnourished and sick. So once there was space at our rescue, we picked them up! So ARTEMIS has known the street life for a very short time. We believe they were dumped at the trapper's work site. Her and her brother have now been living a nice pampered life. She is loved and spoiled. ARTEMIS loves to be petted. She will tell you all about her day (she's a talker!) Loves her can food!! ARTEMIS is an AMAZINLGY sweet cat!!! Go and meet her! She will love on you!!!  In all honestly, ARTEMIS and PARZIVAL have been together for a while. We would love to see them go to their new home together.  ARTEMIS is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU MIX.  She is 1 year and is good with cats. She has never been around young children. She is non-reactive to dogs. ARTEMIS is at PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ************************ NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS *********************** JANUARY 2023:   VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.   Volunteers are usually at Petsmart between 9 - 10 am to 12 pm - 1 pm. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit.  A good time to come visit is at 11 am. We are working on getting evening volunteers too! Email us and ask us. We will let you know what days evening volunteers are there.  The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART  in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption has been finalized. So gas donations always appreciated! ********** PLEASE NO CALLS. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS ********** If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. ARTEMIS is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers:  Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS. If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask! If you have any questions not covered here, please feel free to email us:  [email protected]
