Kneading Kitty's Rescue

We are a cat rescue in Maricopa County. Kneading Kitty's Rescue, saves cats in dire need from the puplic and from kill shelters. We are a non-profit, no kill rescue. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv, and microchipped prior to adoption. We do this because there are not as many rescue's in Maricopa county that save cats. We are passionate about cats and will do what we can to help them and to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering.

Meet Sadie

Meet Sadie! In February, she was found by a kind woman outside of a local business. We believe she was very loved by the folks working there as she is very social. They made a cubby for her outside to keep her and her kittens safe. She was so lucky to have those folks watching out for her. Miss Sadie had five kittens in her last litter and was found with only two 2 week old babies. Sweet little Sadie has tested positive for both FeLV and FIV. Don't let that detour you though, she is in very good health and we expect her to live a long life. Due to her positive status, we recommend she be placed with either another dual positive cat or that she be an only cat. Sadie has shown a relative distaste for other adult cats so she may need to be an only cat. Although, she has shown to be somewhat indifferent to social cats who are not aggressive. We suggest a very slow introduction and lots of patience. Sadie is very protective of her humans and will perk up if anyone knocks on the door or there is sporadic movement/sound, she'll also circle around her humans a few times depending on what she perceives of the situation. May be okay with dogs with a slow introduction but we aren’t quite sure given she hasn't met any just yet. Sadie is such a kind and gentle kitty who we believe would do well in any loving home but ideally, in a family setting with, as mentioned above, individuals who own another Felv/FIV cat. She's got all the feline love you’ll ever need packed into one ridiculously cute little kitty. She loves kids and people! She won't shy away from crowds either, the more people loving on her, the better. Sadie is quite communicative and oh so smart. If she wants to play, she sits next to her favorite toy (which is usually a string toy) and stares out meows at you to come play with her. She also loves open spaces where she can roam! Miss Sadie has also been known to watch TV with you. She truly watches the TV, it is adorable. ◦ Loves playtime (string toy is her favorite) ◦ Loves watching tv, bird videos, anything that moves and will sit with you and watch. Loves to hear music and nature sounds ◦ Great conversationalist ◦ Loves affection more than most cats ◦ Would do well with a family with young children ◦ LOVES gentle back/thigh pats. will start worming around on the floor and can eventually get across the entire room just dragging herself while purring as you pat. ◦ Professional Baker - her biscuits are the best you'll ever see. ◦ Loves attention but can entertain herself given the proper toys, cat tree, etc ◦ Will sleep with you or sleep next to you ◦ Let’s you hold her however you want ◦ Amazing with being held and will even purr ◦ Smells delicious ◦ Real motorboat. Could beat any cat in a purring competition ◦ Loves catnip ◦ Her pupils dilate like Puss in Boots when she sees you or is just generally happy Little Miss Sadie is the full package! She has been spayed, microchipped and dewormed. her adoption fee is just $140. We promise you, if you choose this sweet girl to be your next family member, you won't be sorry.
