Paw Placement Animal Rescue

Paw Placement is a no-kill organization based in Scottsdale, AZ. Our mission is to reduce euthanasia of homeless cats and dogs through rescue, adoption and education about responsible pet guardianship. Founded in 2001 we accept dogs and cats state-wide in AZ from county shelters and are one of the few organizations to help private individuals with placement of their pet, whether the owner is going into assisted living, has been deployed through the military or is a victim of foreclosure.

Meet Sally

Sally was posted on FB and needed a rescue quickly.  She is the SWEETEST and most social kitty who seems so glad to be with us!  All of her vet work is complete and she is adoption ready.  Sally is FIV+ but studies have shown that FIV is not associated with a decreased life span and cats can remain asymptomatic for life.  How is it spread? Only from deep bites, not from sharing food and water dishes or other passive routes.  Current research has shown that FIV+ cats can live the same lifespan as negative cats and has debunked the myth that positive cats cannot live safely with negative cats.  Sally really loves people and we want her find a family soon.  She's enjoying her foster home with the other kitties, but we know she would prefer to pack up her favorite kitty bed and find her happily-ever-after.  If that's you, please send us an adoption application so we can tell her someone wants her for their own.

Adoption Process
All adoptible cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested and microchipped. We conduct thorough adoption interviews. No declaw and indoor only are requirements for cats. Contract, return only to us Prices shown for each available pet.

Look for other cats for adoption!
