Why Get the Eat Better Bowl |
Many dogs have an unhealthy habit of eating too fast. They love to lap up all the food in a swift, sweeping motion and gobble down or “inhale” their food like a vacuum cleaner. This way, they end up swallowing everything without much chewing, thus leading to indigestion. The Eat Better Bowl solves the following problems:
- – The wishbone design in the centre of the bowl has 3 apexes and connecting ridges, which serve as an obstruction to deter your dog from making a clean sweep of the food. The same obstruction also makes it more difficult for dogs to get their muzzles near enough to the base of the bowl, and thus preventing them from “inhaling” their food.
- –Slower eating makes your dog feel full faster, thus avoiding instances of re-eating. As a result this bowl can also be a useful weight management tool.
- – Through moderating your dog’s eating pace, the bowl prevents coprophagy. Coprophagy (the act of feeding on excretion) has many possible causes. Poor digestion due to fast eating may in turn result in poor nutrient absorption. Instinctively, dogs may then try to reprocess it by eating up his nutrient rich poop*.
- – Dogs that eat too fast may regurgitate as a result. By slowing down the dog’s eating process to a healthy and moderate pace, this problem can be eradicated.
* Note: Owners who have this problem should consult a professional to rule out coprophagy as a behavioral problem.

More Reasons to Love it... |
Besides its obvious functions, the Eat Better Bowl is also gorgeously designed in attractive colors. Your dog will love the Eat Better bowl for its looks alone. But there are even more features to make all the neighbourhood pooches green with envy!
- – Each bowl is ergonomically designed in bright vibrant hues with rounded edges so that it does not cause any discomfort during feeding.
- – Spare your dog the indignity of having his bowl move from end to end when he eats. With its weight and three-point non-slip pad, your dog can feed comfortably.
- – Made from high grade K-Resin, the bowls can survive all manner of drops and knocks.
- K-Resin is tough enoug to manage some degree of abuse by a teething pooch, resulting in reduced unsightly chew marks.
- is also a high quality food grade plastic.

Proper Usage of Eat Better™ Bowl |
Important Note
Supervise your dog’s use of the Eat Better™ Bowl until you are confident it can be used safely without supervision. The Eat Better™ Bowl is designed to encourage healthy eating habits but it is your responsibility to ensure the correct use of this product.
Clean Well After Each Use
Contaminated food and eating from an unhygienic dog bowl are common causes of bacterial diseases that may lead to vomiting and diarrhea. After each use, we recommend that you rinse the bowl thoroughly with water and a mild soap solution, if necessary. Occasionally, give it a good scrub with a soft bristle brush. Make sure the sides are well cleaned as these spots tend to accumulate small pieces of food and encourage bacteria growth. Your dog’s health is your responsibility. If you think your dog might have eaten unclean food, consult a veterinarian immediately.
Pick The Right Size
To ensure that your dog is able to eat comfortably without having to bury his face in an oversized bowl (which may create a sense of phobia and insecurity as a result of blocked vision), make sure you pick the right size for his feeding bowl. As a guide, “Petite” is best for small to mid-size dogs like Miniature Schnauzers, Silky Terriers, Cocker Spaniels and Shelties etc; “Jumbo” bowls hold substantial feeding portions for mid-size to large breeds like Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Dobermans and Beagles etc.
If your dog has problems switching over from his existing feeding bowl, we suggest adding bits of his favourite treats into the food to encourage him to eat from the new bowl. Once your dog is used to eating from his new bowl, you can resume his normal diet and leave the treats out gradually.

The Eat Better Bowl was borne out of the observation of dogs gobbling up their food every time as if they came right out of a famine. This ‘vacuuming’ of food may result in a myriad of physical and behavioral problems including overeating, vomiting and coprophagy.
The Eat Better Bowl’s unique revolutionary design is a result of deep thought and research and its introduction at pet conventions was met with overwhelming success by dog accessory distributors, retailers and owners alike.

Testimonial
“We timed Bobby having his breakfast using his old eating bowl and then we timed Bobby eating the same amount of food the next day using the Eat Better Bowl. The result was astounding! He finished his food only after 4minutes and 23 seconds where he used to take 49 seconds before! I believe this is the main reason he’s not vomiting as often anymore as he gets to digest his food at a much better rate now with the Eat Better Bowl. Great product!”
